HOLIDAY LOOKS for the whole family
Outside of family photos, the other big occasion for coordinated dressing is CHRISTMAS.
With this in mind (ahead of Thanksgiving Sales) I have put together some ensembles for you to shop - whether you are shopping for the whole family or simply filling in missing pieces for this years holiday looks.
BLACK watch plaid theme
This is an ensemble for all of you who prefer a more muted, natural palette - forest greens punctuated with rich navy. Forest greens are also deeply flattering to almost all skin types.
This HHH Matilda dress is incredibly flattering, high-waisted, and silky. I have bought this J. Crew Factory shirt for my husband, and I love the mini me boys version. These forest green corduroy boys pants my son is currently wearing, and they are fantastic quality. These baby knits are from Hope and Henry, one of the best baby knitwear brands out there - quality, chunky, and deliciously cozy. Finally, how sweet are these coordinating little girl dresses?
HOLLY RED THEME
This family look is for those of you that love some Christmas red! The cheerful pop of color brings some energy to the festive season.
I’ve linked some handsome Daddy & me shirts from J.Crew, along with the red cords I’ve bought for my own son. I love this silky red dress for all the ladies! I’ve linked a few different options for little girls that are both darling. I also found a sweet little baby dress that matches! Lets not forget the sweet velvet Mary Janes for bringing that festive feel to her outfit. I have also linked the Hope and Henry baby knit jumper in red - a classic piece.
winter nights theme
I love the idea of stepping out of the typical red/green palette for Christmas, and trying a blue or silver theme instead. This family ensemble blends those two complementary colors into a really elegant family look.
I fell hard for this silk evening suit set for the ladies. How incredibly chic, but also practical - wearing pants is sometimes preferable in the winter cold, and a double breasted blazer can be useful for easy access nursing (I’ve done it). As you can see, I couldn’t narrow down my little girls selection - each dress is darling, and the selection has multiple price points! Rounding out the look, we have a solid rich navy button down for Dad, with a grey gingham button down for the little boys. “Oh starry night”….
